Got Questions? We've Got Answers.

Everything you need to know about our bathroom regrouting service across Melbourne's Bayside.

How long does a regrouting job take? expand_more
Most jobs take 4–6 hours. We typically arrive in the morning, finish by mid-to-late afternoon, and you're back using the shower 24–48 hours later (the silicone needs to cure overnight).
Will I need to leave the house while you work? expand_more
No. We use M-class dust extraction (Bosch GAS 55 M) so dust is contained. You can carry on with your day — we'll just need the bathroom itself for the working window.
What's the difference between cement and epoxy regrouting? expand_more
Cement grout is more affordable but slightly porous, which is why it can discolour over time. Epoxy grout is 100% Water Resistant, stain-resistant, and significantly more durable — it doesn't need sealing and resists mould. Our Bronze tier uses cement; our Silver and Gold tiers use epoxy.
How much does regrouting cost? expand_more
We have three fixed-price tiers: Bronze $650 (shower floor, cement grout, 2-year warranty), Silver $1,150 (floor + walls, epoxy grout, 6-year warranty), and Gold $1,650 (Silver plus colour seal and anti-slip, 6-year warranty). The price you're quoted is the final price — no hidden extras.
Can you match my existing grout colour? expand_more
Yes. We bring a Mapei colour range to every quote and match against your tiles before we start. If you'd prefer to refresh the look with a different shade, we can do that too — just let us know at the quote stage.
Do you fix leaking showers or do Water Resistant? expand_more
No, we don't. We're regrouting specialists. If your shower is actively leaking through the wall or into a room below, that usually indicates a failed Water Resistant membrane, which is a separate licensed trade. We'd recommend contacting a licensed waterproofer for those jobs.
What does the warranty cover? expand_more
Our written workmanship warranty covers the regrouting work itself — if the grout cracks, falls out, or fails within the warranty period (2 years on Bronze, 6 years on Silver and Gold) due to our workmanship, we come back and fix it at no charge. This is in addition to your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
