Two names stand behind your shower

We install Mapei materials backed by a 10-year product warranty — and we back our own workmanship in writing on your invoice. No headline tricks, no fine-print traps.

Two real warranties — both in writing

Every Rescue My Tiles job is protected two ways, on your invoice — not one big number buried in the fine print.

Manufacturer Product Warranty
10years — Mapei materials

The genuine Mapei materials we install — Kerapoxy epoxy grout and Mapesil AC silicone — carry Mapei Australia's 10-year product warranty against manufacturing defects, claimable directly with Mapei, subject to Mapei's terms. We give you the product details and proof of purchase so you can claim if you ever need to.

+
Our Workmanship Warranty
5years epoxy · 2 years cement · 6 months silicone

Backed in writing on your invoice. If our grout or silicone fails within the warranty period because of how we applied it, we come back and put it right — no call-out fee to make a claim.

Why "how many years?" is the wrong question

Anyone can print a big number. What matters is who actually stands behind the job — and what's in the fine print.

Manufacturer-backed material

We use Mapei Kerapoxy — a professional epoxy grout carrying Mapei's 10-year product warranty against manufacturing defects. A global manufacturer stands behind the material.

Our workmanship, in writing

A written workmanship warranty printed on your invoice — not just promised. Most companies won't put the labour part in writing at all.

A batch record for your job

You receive a Materials & Batch Record listing the exact Mapei batch used in your shower — the proof that makes the manufacturer warranty claimable if you ever need it.

One accountable business

Not a franchise where the warranty may pass to someone else next year. The same business that does your job stands behind it — start to finish.

No headline tricks. No fine-print traps.

The things that quietly void other warranties — here's exactly where we stand.

Silicone covered — not excluded

Its workmanship is warranted for 6 months, in writing. We don't quietly carve it out.

No fee to make a claim

If something isn't right, we come back and look. You don't pay a call-out fee to have us check our own work.

No cleaning-product lock-in

Clean with any pH-neutral bathroom cleaner. You're never tied to buying products from us to keep the warranty valid.

No blanket structural-movement void

We only decline a claim if the building actually moving is what caused the problem — because that genuinely isn't our workmanship.

The honest bit others leave out

Surface mould from a poorly-ventilated bathroom or harsh cleaners is maintenance, not a workmanship fault — no honest regrouter can warrant against that. And regrouting and resealing refresh and protect the tile surface; they are not waterproofing. If water is getting in behind the tiles, that needs a licensed waterproofer or plumber — and we'll tell you straight if that's what we find.

Questions worth asking any regrouter

Ask us, ask anyone. The answers tell you what a warranty is really worth.

1

Is silicone covered by your warranty — or excluded?

2

Is the warranty void if the house has structural movement?

3

Is there a call-out fee if I need to make a warranty claim?

4

Do I have to buy your cleaning products to keep the warranty valid?

5

In a year, who honours the warranty — this business, or a separate franchisee?

6

Do you promise to "waterproof" or "fix leaks" by regrouting?

Our answers: silicone covered in writing (6 months) · no blanket structural-movement clause · no call-out fee to claim · no cleaning-product lock-in · one business stands behind every job (we're not a franchise) · and no — regrouting isn't waterproofing, and we won't tell you it is.
