Local regrouting service. Fresh, water-resistant grout in a single day.
Brighton East is post-war family territory that has renovated wave after wave — which means most bathrooms here date from a 90s, 2000s or 2010s makeover. Those renovations are now old enough that the grout has done its time: hairline cracks across shower floors, staining that scrubbing won't move, and silicone corners that stay black no matter what.
The tiling from those renovations is generally excellent — large-format ceramic and stone-look surfaces with years of life left. Our regrouting restores the finish those bathrooms had on day one: failed grout raked out and rebuilt with fresh, sealed grout lines, junctions resealed with premium mould-resistant silicone.
Most Brighton East jobs are done in a single day, on a fixed written price, with a workmanship warranty of up to 5 years, plus Mapei's 10-year product warranty on the materials. The bathroom reads as freshly renovated — because the only thing that had failed was the grout.
Brighton East sits in the middle of our core Bayside run alongside Brighton, Bentleigh East and Hampton. Send phone photos for a fixed written quote — no visit needed — and expect clean, careful work by the owner with a workmanship warranty of up to 5 years.
Most showers that leave a damp patch on the wall behind, or drip through to the room below, are losing water through cracked grout and failed silicone — the surface joints — not through the membrane under the tiles. A regrout and reseal rebuilds exactly those joints, in a day, without removing a tile. If your photos or our on-site check point to the membrane or to plumbing instead, we say so and refer you on: regrouting is not membrane work. See how we assess a leaking shower and what a shower reseal involves.
Not every Brighton East bathroom needs a full regrout. If it’s only the silicone that has failed — a black shower corner, a peeling bath or benchtop bead, a screen-to-tile line — we also do stand-alone caulking and silicone replacement: old bead stripped out, joint cleaned back to bare tile, resealed in colour-matched Mapei Mapesil AC with a 6-month written warranty. Full shower reseal from $349, single joints priced per metre, whole-house caulking for renovations and new builds — fixed written quote from your photos.
